Application Description

Experience the ultimate in VR video playback with VaR's VR Video Player! This powerful player offers complete control and compatibility with all video modes for an immersive virtual reality experience.

Enjoy seamless head tracking for realistic, real-time movement within your VR environment. Customize your viewing experience by adjusting parameters such as eye distance, lens correction, field of view (zoom), brightness, saturation, and contrast. You can even control playback position directly.

VaR's VR Video Player supports a wide range of video formats:

  • Stereoscopic side-by-side
  • Stacked
  • 180º and 360º video
  • Panorama 180º and 360º video
  • Standard videos

Navigate settings intuitively using VR controls, preview videos with the built-in browser's thumbnail generation, and enjoy support for subtitles (including automatic detection of .srt files). Play videos from your network (http or LAN) by selecting files through your browser or file explorer. Easily reset your view to recenter the camera to your current gaze. Choose between static and floating modes for non-spherical videos, allowing you to enjoy a virtual cinema experience or disable head tracking as preferred.

Note: A Google Cardboard or compatible VR headset is recommended for optimal viewing.
