The evolution upgrade fundamentally transforms the Inferno Dragon's combat effectiveness. Unlike its original iteration that reset damage when changing targets, the evolved version maintains its escalating damage potential for maximum impact against multiple foes.
Season of Evolution: Dragon's Ascent
The new season, titled "How to Evolve Your Dragon!", introduces the Inferno Dragon Evolution alongside the return of the popular 2v2 League. Players can team up with friends or random partners to climb the competitive ladder.
Milestone Events beginning at Arena 7 offer valuable rewards including 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, Epic Books of Cards, and exclusive cosmetics.
The season features two Crown Chase events: the first awards a premium Battle Banner with decorative elements plus an Epic Book of Cards, while the second delivers another Battle Banner and 3 Evolution Shards.
Throughout June and early July, developers will showcase the new Evolution cards through special Game Modes and Challenges:
- Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft (June 2-9)
- Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) with Battle Banner and Emote rewards
- Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) allowing 4 Evolution Cards per deck
- Magical Trio (June 16-23)
- 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30)
- Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) permitting up to 8 Evolution Cards per deck
