Roblox developer Kitawari has unleashed Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0, a major overhaul bringing significant changes to the tower defense game's unit roster, lobby experience, and a generous helping of quality-of-life improvements. This update is packed with winter-themed additions designed to keep players engaged for weeks to come. The most striking change? A completely revamped lobby, offering anime fans a much more spacious and visually appealing starting point for each session. This is complemented by a remastered UI, particularly a cleaner and more intuitive stage selection interface.
“We heard your feedback about the cramped, outdated lobby and the need for more space for new game modes,” Kitawari explained in the patch notes. “Prepare yourselves for a stunning new lobby—ten times more impressive than before, complete with a customizable day-night cycle, adjustable in the Settings menu!”
Winter Update 3.0 introduces a thrilling new game mode: Portals. Kitawari encourages players to utilize winter units and skins for increased team damage and access to exclusive rewards. For experimental strategists, Sandbox Mode offers unrestrained testing grounds. In addition, twelve new units await discovery, scattered across a new Winter Banner, the Portals game mode, the battle pass, and new leaderboard rewards.
The quality-of-life improvements are numerous, streamlining the overall experience. These include smoother unit placement, Evolution Quests now appearing in a dedicated tab, searchable skins and familiar windows, and clearer unit targeting indicators. All these enhancements are available to Anime Vanguards players immediately.
This update follows a string of successful releases since the game's launch last January.
