Rainbow Six Siege Upcoming 10th Year Anniversary

Originally released on December 1, 2015, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and later ported to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2020, Rainbow Six Siege has been a mainstay in the live-service shooter genre. Ubisoft continues to support the game with numerous updates, ensuring its longevity and relevance in the gaming community.

In a Steam post dated February 17, 2025, Ubisoft introduced a new operator, Aurora, who can deploy bulletproof doors, adding a new tactical element to the game. Alongside Aurora, a new elite skin for operator Aruni and a new reputation system that rewards or punishes players based on their behavior during a season will be released. These additions are slated for Season 1 of the game's 10th year, dubbed Operation Prep Phase, launching on March 4, 2025, in celebration of the game’s 10th anniversary.

With the launch of Season 10 and the upcoming showcase, it appears that the major upgrades of Rainbow Six Siege X will be implemented on the live servers following the event, further enhancing the experience for the dedicated community of Rainbow Six Siege players.
