Marvel Rivals Season 1: Blade's Artwork Revealed and More

Marvel Rivals has thrilled fans with the official unveiling of Blade's artwork as part of the Midnight Features event quests during Season 1. This exciting development hints at Blade's potential debut as a playable character in the upcoming Season 2. As players dive into Season 1, they're treated to new maps, a fresh game mode, and a battle pass brimming with enticing cosmetics.

The Midnight Features quests are accessible within the Season section of the game's menu, organized into five chapters, each containing three quests. By tackling these special challenges, players can earn valuable rewards such as Chrono Tokens, Units, and a free skin for Thor in Marvel Rivals. Although some challenges remain locked behind a timer, all five chapters of the event will be fully unlocked by January 17.

A notable reward for completing Chapter 3 of the Midnight Features quests is a Gallery Card showcasing Season 1's antagonist, Dracula, battling the hero Blade. This marks the first official confirmation from NetEase Games of Blade's presence in Marvel Rivals, despite earlier rumors sparked by the discovery of his character model in the game's files. According to the Season 1 storyline, Dracula has strategically removed Blade and Doctor Strange from the battlefield, seeing them as significant threats to his sinister plans.

Blade's Potential Role and Abilities in Season 2

With Blade's artwork making a striking appearance, speculation is rife among fans about his potential role in Season 2. Many believe that Season 1 will culminate with The Fantastic Four thwarting Dracula's schemes to save New York City, Blade, and Doctor Strange. Discussions are buzzing about what role suits the vampire hunter best, with a consensus leaning towards him being a formidable Duelist. Leaks suggest that Blade might have a transformative ability in Marvel Rivals, similar to the ultimate abilities of Magik and Hulk, which would boost his strength, alter his attacks, and enable him to see enemies through walls.

Ultron's Leaked Abilities and Role

Blade isn't the only character stirring excitement; Ultron's full ability kit was leaked during Season 0, hinting at his possible introduction as a Strategist. As a Strategist, Ultron could offer crucial healing and support to his allies on the battlefield. Initially, leakers speculated that Ultron might debut in Season 1, but with the release of The Fantastic Four, it appears NetEase Games may have adjusted their plans. While leaks often hold truth, they're not always guaranteed to materialize, so fans should treat them as rumors until officially confirmed.

With a plethora of content on the horizon, the future looks bright for Marvel Rivals, leaving players eagerly anticipating what's next in this dynamic hero shooter.
