Cyberpunk 2077 receives a significant update (2.21) from CD Projekt RED, incorporating cutting-edge NVIDIA technology and numerous bug fixes.
A key feature of this update is the integration of DLSS 4 support. GeForce RTX 50 series card users will experience a substantial performance boost, generating extra frames. This enhancement will be available from January 30th. DLSS 4 also improves frame generation speed on RTX 40 and 50 series cards while optimizing memory usage.
Furthermore, all GeForce RTX users now have the option to select between a convolutional neural network model and a new transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution, and DLAA. The transform model delivers superior lighting, detail, and image stability.
This update also addresses several critical issues:
- Resolved: In-game screen glitches and crashes associated with enabled DLSS ray reconstruction.
- Resolved: Incorrect "Frame Creation" parameter updates after disabling resolution scaling.
- Resolved: Inability to interact with certain vendors.
- Resolved: Missing or low volume TV news audio.
- Resolved: Infrequent appearance of Johnny Silverhand in the passenger seat.
- Resolved: Disappearing items when hiding nearby characters.
- Resolved: Game freezes when simultaneously entering photo mode and accessing a closet or stash.
- Enhanced: Photo Mode now allows placement of Nibbles and Adam Smasher even when V is in the air or water.
- Improved: Adam Smasher's facial expression adjustments.
This update promises a smoother, more visually appealing, and less buggy Cyberpunk 2077 experience for players with compatible hardware.
