Cyberpunk Thriller from Ghostrunner Devs Revealed

Author : Christian Feb 20,2025

One More Level, renowned for the acclaimed Ghostrunner series, unveils a glimpse into their upcoming title, Cyber Slash. This brutal action franchise, known for its demanding gameplay requiring precision, agility, and lightning-fast reflexes, is branching out. The original Ghostrunner titles enjoyed critical and commercial success, boasting average scores of 81% and 79% for the first installment, and 80% and 76% for the sequel, respectively.

A newly released image hints at the studio's next venture. While One More Level is currently developing two projects—Cyber Slash and Project Swift (slated for a 2028 release)—the recently unveiled artwork strongly suggests a focus on Cyber Slash.

Cyber Slash transports players to an alternate 19th century, offering a darkly reimagined Napoleonic era. Prepare for an epic adventure where legendary heroes clash with formidable, unknown forces.

The gameplay promises a challenging and action-packed experience, a departure from traditional Souls-like mechanics. While parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses remain key elements, the protagonist will undergo a transformative evolution through mutations throughout the game.
