Navigating the vast world of World of Warcraft on a majestic mount is undoubtedly one of the most exhilarating experiences in the game. Among the most coveted mounts is the Stormcrow named Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren. Inspired by the Siren Isle zone introduced in the World of Warcraft: The War Within expansion, Thrayir is not just any Raven mount; it's a symbol of adventure and achievement. To acquire this stunning flying mount, players must embark on a quest during a unique weather event known as the Storm, which unfolds in multiple phases across Siren Isle. Here’s your detailed guide on how to secure Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren in World of Warcraft.
How to Get Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren in World of Warcraft
The journey to obtain Thrayir begins with collecting five distinct Runekeys during the Storm event on Siren Isle:
Whirling Runekey: This key is dropped by Ksvir the Forgotten, a rare spawn enemy found in the southernmost room of the Forgotten Vault. Visiting the Vault during a Storm increases the chance of Ksvir spawning, and he nearly always drops the Whirling Runekey upon defeat.
Torrential Runekey: Gather seven Torrential Fragments from any enemy around Siren Isle during the Storm phase. Once you have all seven, you can craft the Torrential Runekey.
Thunderous Runekey: Collect five Thunderous Fragments from any chest on Siren Isle. These fragments can be found even if the chest's location isn't currently experiencing a Storm.
Cyclonic Runekey: You can obtain this key by fishing anywhere on Siren Isle during a Storm phase or as a potential drop from Zek’ul the Shipbreaker in the Deadfin Mire.
Turbulent Runekey: Construct this key using three Turbulent Fragments found at specific locations near Kul Tiran ghosts:
- Behind the abandoned inn, dig in the garden.
- Inside a cave in the Rotting Hole zone, where a ghost is cowering.
- Inside the Spirit-Scarred Cave, where a ghost offers the fragment as a tribute.
After securing all five Runekeys, head back to the Forgotten Vault on Siren Isle, but make sure it's during the Seafury Tempest phase. Entering the Vault during any other phase won't trigger the ritual needed to use the keys. Once inside, navigate to the eastern room where you'll find Thrayir’s body on a platform surrounded by five runestones. Insert each corresponding Runekey into the slots to receive the quest "Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren." Completing this quest will grant you the magnificent Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren mount, ready to soar through the skies of Azeroth.
