In *Fields of Mistria*, you can forge friendships with virtually everyone, but romance is a special connection reserved for a select group of 11 NPCs, including the intriguing Caldarus, as of the v0.13.0 update. Each romanceable character has a heart meter that reflects their affection towards you, which you can increase through thoughtful interactions and gifts.
To kindle a romance, engage with your chosen NPC daily. Simple conversations while you're out and about in town can significantly boost their heart meter. Also, make it a point to fulfill any requests they post on the town board; completing these tasks is a great way to show your dedication. Lastly, you can gift them an item they love or like once per day. Remember, crafting or gathering these items can be rewarding, and giving a loved item on their birthday will give an extra boost to their heart gauge.
Keep in mind that currently, the heart meter can only reach up to six hearts. At this level, a cutscene will hint at budding feelings, but it's not quite a full romance yet. However, according to the game's roadmap, future updates will introduce 8 and 10-heart events, along with options for marriage and starting a family, ensuring your romantic journey in Mistria has plenty of room to blossom.

Juniper, the enchanting NPC who runs the bathhouse in the northeastern part of town, is one of the romanceable characters in *Fields of Mistria*. She's often on the hunt for unique witchcraft ingredients, but to win her heart, you'll need to focus on visiting her, completing her town board requests, and selecting the right gifts.
Juniper appreciates a variety of items, categorized into those she "likes" and "loves". Her birthday falls on the 26th day of Fall, so be sure to gift her an item she "loves" on that special day to maximize the boost to her heart gauge. However, avoid giving her items she dislikes, which include all universal dislikes and Sod.
