General Changes
Let's kick things off with the core changes to gameplay and interface:
- A new League Migrations button allows you to seamlessly transfer your character to parent leagues.
- Strongbox mechanics have been revamped. Enemy wave intervals are now shorter, making it easier to differentiate spawned mobs from those already on the map. A bug preventing monster spawns has been squashed, and the fog clears once all enemies are vanquished. You'll also encounter Research Strongboxes more often.
- You can now swap out runes socketed in your gear for new ones.
- Armor effectiveness has been boosted.
- Character level no longer gates access to Expedition Vendors; instead, the rarity of equipment depends on the shop's level, leaving existing shops unaffected.
- Minions that die too far from you will respawn instantly nearby.
- The level of Uncut Gems is now visible in their item names.
- Equipped Charms now display their remaining charges.
- Entering maps is safer, as monsters no longer spawn right at the entrance.
- It's now easier to pick up items from the ground while performing other actions.
On the performance front, the developers have enhanced overall game performance, particularly in shadow-heavy areas, increased loading speeds, optimized boss fights and visual effects, and improved gameplay in The Ziggurat Encampment.
