In *Phasmophobia*, Tarot Cards are a high-risk, high-reward Cursed Possession. This guide explains how to use them effectively.

Tarot Cards offer powerful effects but carry significant risk. For safety, use them in a secure location, like near a hiding spot or the entrance, providing an escape route if you draw a dangerous card like Death.

Each card has a unique, immediate effect. However, The Fool card (similar to a Joker) produces no effect. You can draw up to 10 cards without sanity loss, and duplicates have the same effect.

Ten cards are possible:

Tarot CardEffectDraw Chance
The TowerDoubles ghost activity for 20 seconds20%
The Wheel of FortuneGains 25% sanity (green flame); loses 25% sanity (red flame)20%
The HermitConfines the ghost to its favorite room for 1 minute (doesn't affect hunts or events)10%
The SunFully restores sanity to 100%5%
The MoonCompletely drains sanity to 0%5%

What are Cursed Objects (Possessions) in Phasmophobia?

Cursed Possessions are high-risk items that randomly appear in Phasmophobia, offering powerful effects but posing considerable danger to your character. Unlike standard equipment, they manipulate the ghost but at a cost. The choice of using them is yours; there's no penalty for avoiding them. Only one spawns per contract (unless modified in Custom settings), always in a fixed location. Seven Cursed Objects exist: Haunted Mirror, Voodoo Doll, Music Box, Tarot Cards, Ouija Board, Monkey Paw, and Summoning Circle.

This concludes our guide on Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia. Check The Escapist for more guides and news, including achievements and trophies.
