- The SmartTyre Car & Bike application requires Bluetooth activation. Utilizing Bluetooth Low Energy technology, the app maintains minimal battery consumption while delivering full functionality.
Location Services
- Location services must be enabled for proper operation. Note that SmartTyre doesn't use GPS positioning, instead leveraging Bluetooth LE technology for sensor location detection.
Prolonged background GPS usage may reduce battery performance. The SmartTyre app only accesses GPS functions when specifically permitted by the user for optional features requiring location services.
