Lost Soul Aside, a single-player action game, is finally launching on May 30th for PlayStation 5 and PC after a decade-long development journey. Initially a solo project by Yang Bing, it's now a major Sony title under their "China Hero Project," with Bing leading the Shanghai-based studio Ultizero Games.

IGN recently interviewed Yang Bing, discussing the game's evolution from a solo developer's vision to a viral 2016 trailer reveal at Sony's State of Play. The game has garnered significant hype, often described as a compelling blend of Final Fantasy aesthetics and Devil May Cry's combat system.

With the assistance of a translator, IGN explored the game's origins, inspirations, and the numerous challenges the team overcame during its extensive development. The interview delved into the creative process and the journey from initial concept to final release.
