-Prologue-
You are the best hunter in your village, drawn to a forest near the royal capital by news of a prestigious tournament to determine the nation's top hunter. Full of excitement, you arrived and participated in the tournament's opening ceremony. After venturing into the forest with great enthusiasm on the first day, you awoke from your initial camping trip to a strange scene. Everyone had vanished, leaving only remnants of the camp where numerous hunters from across the country had gathered. The national guard, responsible for managing and monitoring the tournament's progress, was nowhere to be seen. No matter where you looked, not a single person was in sight. Deciding it was too dangerous to move carelessly, you stayed put for a while. However, as time passed without anyone showing up, you couldn't help but start walking. Then, you noticed another oddity. That tree with strange branches... hadn't you just seen it a while ago? You were supposed to be heading north to return to the starting point where you entered the forest, but it seemed you ended up in the same place. As a hunter, this was nothing to be proud of, but just as you have absolute confidence in your bow skills, you also trust your sense of direction implicitly. Getting lost in the forest was a situation that could only be called bizarre. Whether you stayed or moved, it was the same. In that case... desperately trying to suppress panic, you started walking through the forest again...
What is "Elven Curse"?
With the help of a certain quarter-elf, you play as a hunter aiming to escape from a cursed forest in this non-field RPG. Except for the base menu, you can proceed using no more than three buttons, making it a super simple command selection game.Character Creation
Manual customization is not available, but you can reroll your stats as many times as you like. The status increase rate when leveling up can only be viewed on this screen and cannot be confirmed after the game has started. During play, this acts as a return item. When the number of "talismans" in your possession is less than two and the main character's life force reaches zero, the character will be lost.Peddler Quarter Elf "Foria"
A boy (?) that the main character meets in the forest. Though he looks like a child, he claims to be a quarter-elf and older than the main character. Despite having no involvement in the trouble, by borrowing the power of the ancient spirits of the forest, he secretly supports the protagonist's escape.Scenario Scene
The prologue text flows smoothly like a picture-story show, and Phoria's dialogue speaks in a cheerful tone to you, the main character of the story. The worldview is expressed through quiet, simple, and somewhat connotative language.Exploration Mode
The routes within the forest that connect the bases are opened by "exploring" all the "unexplored" areas in each section. The numerical results of each "exploration" act are determined by the "fog depth" of the area and the relationship with some of the main character's status values. When your life force is exhausted, use poison as necessary to restore your vitality. In some cases, using rare "talismans," you may also need to decide to return to Foria.Encounter with the Beast * Hunter Battle
A ferocious beast roams the forest. In addition to wild dogs and wolves, for some reason, even animals like frogs and rabbits will attack you. If you kill them, you will receive hides that can be used to trade with Foria. Please note that unlike general RPGs, there is no leveling up through battle! The purpose of this game is to escape from the cursed forest. There are no fixed battles such as mid-boss or final boss. Also, all battles can be avoided. (For that, you will need a lot of luck or a reasonable amount of playing time). The main character is a hunter. Prey is killed with a bow and arrow. You cannot shoot an arrow unless you maintain a suitable distance from your opponent. As long as you maintain this distance, you can attack without receiving a counterattack from the beast, but at that time, the beast may be able to close the gap. Also, if you are far away from the beast, in addition to shooting arrows, you can use wound medicine on the spot to restore your life force and avoid the battle to continue exploring the forest. On the other hand, if the gap is closed, you will receive a one-sided attack from the beast. There are two options. Is it "withdrawal" where you keep a distance from the other person on your own? Or escape using the "flash" ball given to you by Foria. The latter is certain, and the former's success or failure will be determined by the difference in ability.Cloak * Layering System
Folia is made from the branch arrows, resin, and leather that the main character brings. You can create a mysterious cloak that enhances the abilities of the person who wears it. Thin and light, it can be layered with up to three layers. The amount of increase in ability value is the sum of the layers of clothing. Also, in rare cases, it has the effect of restoring the main character's vitality. Please note that the item you are wearing on top may be damaged due to various factors. Eventually, it will tear and become unusable. This cloak is the only equipment change element in this game. There are no variations to the bow and arrow weapon! This is not a game!
・A game where you can enjoy "playing it".・Games with "inflation".
・A game where you select one skill from a variety of randomly presented skills.
・A game that tests reflexes, strategic thinking, skill, luck, etc.
・A game where you collect a variety of material items and enjoy systems such as synthesis and alchemy. This is the game!
・A game where you can thoroughly enjoy the preparations (leveling up and purchasing equipment) before proceeding to the next stage.
・A monotonous work game where you just accumulate experience points and gold (perhaps I'm exaggerating...).
・A relaxing game that allows you to progress even if you play hard.
About Autosave
This game has an auto-save system, but the save timing is incomplete (for example, the save process is not performed during battle, etc.). If you want to ensure the preservation of the condition, we recommend that you close the app in the situation in the base menu. What's New in the Latest Version 1.2
